Downtown Chiropractic & Rehabilitation

Our Practice

Downtown Chiropractic and Rehabilitation in Fredericksburg is here to provide chiropractic care and medical massage therapy to people of all ages, offering relief from back and neck pain, headaches, and conditions caused by muscular-skeletal issues. We're committed to helping you reach your health goals.

With consistent chiropractic care, most of our patients achieve a new level of wellness and are able to enjoy life and favorite activities with improved stamina and no pain or less pain than they had before treatment. We're always excited to see patients rediscover the flexibility, strength, and abilities they may have lost over time or through injuries.

When necessary, our doctors are happy to coordinate their treatment with other medical professionals who may be involved in your care, including physical therapists and doctors such as orthopedists and neurologists.

 Our Massage Therapists

Ashley Smith

As a licensed massage therapist (and mother of two), Ashley Smith has a special passion for helping women navigate the physical changes related to pregnancy and delivery, adjusting her techniques and treatment plan through each trimester and post-partum.  She brings years of experience in deep tissue and trigger point therapy to all her clients and has expertise in meeting the needs of oncology patients.

A native of Spotsylvania, Ashley went to school at Blue Ridge School of Massage Therapy in Blacksburg, Virginia.  She began working at Downtown Chiropractic in 2008.  Her love of adventure and the outdoors took her to Alaska from 2013-2018.  While living there, she worked for the US Coast Guard as a security officer and became proficient at salmon fishing.  Her much-loved massage therapy career and family in Virginia lured her home, and Downtown Chiropractic was happy to see her return to its team.

Ashley is always on the go, organizing activities and outings for her children, crafting sewing, raising chickens, and enjoying weekends with family and friends.

Brianna Branson

Bri, a Fredericksburg native and graduate of the Lotus School of Integrated Professions for Massage Therapy in Richmond, chose a career in massage therapy because it provides a natural, holistic approach to health and wellness.

While trained in all forms of massage, she considers deep pressure massage her specialty. Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Desk workers, commuters, and those who are recovering from accidents or injuries can find relief and improved healing.

On weekends, Bri recharges outdoors, hiking or camping. She also enjoys creating jewelry and cooking.

Amanda Farnham

Amanda is a Spotsylvania native and graduate of the Virginia School of Massage in Charlottesville. She has a passion for helping people heal naturally.

She has worked as a massage therapist in various settings, including a physical therapy practice, a chiropractic office, and a spa. She is adept at deep tissue, trigger point, and Swedish massage, and enjoys rehabilitating injuries, especially shoulder issues.

On weekends, Amanda likes to decompress by crafting, spending time outdoors, refinishing and repurposing flea market finds, or flower arranging.
